Unbuilt WashingtonScott Clowney, who received his MA in Exhibition Design from the Corcoran earlier this year, designed the recently opened exhibition Unbuilt Washington for the National Building Museum. Unbuilt Washington reveals the Washington that could have been by presenting architectural and urban design projects that were proposed but, for widely varied reasons, never executed. In his Washington Post review, Philip Kennicott writes, "The material on display in this fascinating exhibition suggests that there is something fundamentally American at work in the restless spirit of redesign, refashioning and remaking of the urban landscape."
