The Corcoran's Christy Schlesinger Designing "Fairgrounds" Near Nationals Park
Adjunct faculty member Christy Schlesinger and her firm Schlesinger Associate Architects have been very busy lately. An article in The Washington Post’s Capital Business noted that local restaurateur Bo Blair has commissioned Schlesinger to design a major project near Nationals Park. “Fairgrounds,” a network of food and craft stalls, will be open seven days a week during baseball season.
Schlesinger also recently earned an Award for Excellence in Interior Architecture for her redesign of the Lassus Residence in Georgetown (for pictures and more information, click here and go to p. 22). Her firm transformed a two-level condo into what Architecture DC calls “a luminously elegant residence.”
