EXCELLENCE in PRINTMAKING The 2011 EXHIBITION and AWARD

The 2011 EXHIBITION and AWARD Juried by Katherine Blood, Curator of Fine Prints for the Library of Congress is Open to juniors, seniors or Master’s degree candidates with a major or substantial concentration in Printmaking Studies, funded by the generosity of The Washington Print Foundation and The Washington Print Club. The Washington Printmakers Gallery has joined with the Washington Print Club to award the Excellence in Printmaking prize for the past 5 years. The aim of this award is to encourage printmaking and the use of traditional, non-digital techniques. This year, we are excited to announce the award’s expansion into a juried exhibition, juried by Katherine Blood, the Curator of Fine Prints for the Library of Congress.
