NEED AN ON-CAMPUS JOB?
The Undergraduate Admissions Office is seeking tour guides for the upcoming 2012-2013 academic year. Tour guides are comfortable speaking to prospective Corcoran students (and their parents) and will gain valuable professional experience. Students will work 2 to 10 hours per week, depending on their personal availability. The position also includes various “perks” such as receiving Corcoran apparel, gift cards, and being treated to lunches on occasion.These are PAID positions, you do NOT have to qualify for Work Study.
- Submit the application (attached), your resume, and two references. Cover letters are optional.
- There are two ways to turn in the application (remember to include the other materials too!)
1) Email them to Carolyn Myers at email@example.com and put “tour guide applicant” in the subject line. OR…
2) Submit them in person at the upcoming “Admissions Snack Break” (details below).
ON TUESDAY, April 24th, the Admissions Office will be hosting a snack break from 11:00 to 12:00 and 3:30 to 4:30 in the RCR (upstairs in the Atrium, near the elevator)
This is an opportunity for you to enjoy sugary treats/caffeine and ask the admissions staff questions about the position. You may also submit your application materials at this time.If you’re not sure whether or not to apply, we encourage you to attend the snack break regardless!The atmosphere will be causal and informative.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THAT?
A select group of candidates will be invited back to interview for the position on Friday, April 27 th or Monday, April 30th (depending on their schedules). Selected candidates will be notified during the first week of May, and treated to a celebratory event on Monday, May 7th.
