Research Clinics for Graduate Students

The Corcoran Library is holding Research Clinics at the Georgetown campus on Sunday, April 15 and Sunday, April 29 at 1:30-3:30pm in Room 205.
Students are encouraged to bring their own computers with the Firefox web browser already installed on their computers. Free download: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/. Zotero can be downloaded for free at http://www.zotero.org/ (this will be covered in the clinic)
1:30-2:20pm Introduction to Zotero. Learning Outcomes: Students will learn how to use Zotero to manage and organize their bibliographic data and research materials. They will also learn how to create bibliographies in Chicago Style Manual. Art Education students will learn to create bibliographies in APA Style.
2:20-2:40pm Pizza and Refreshments
2:40-3:30pm Thesis Submission. Learning Outcomes: Students will learn about the thesis submission process, including copyright issues, writing an abstract, and choosing appropriate keywords to make their thesis discoverable.
