Design Internship Opportunity

Our design Internship program offers junior- and senior-level college students, enrolled in Graphic Design programs, the opportunity to experience real-world situations while learning from award-winning senior-level creatives.
The internships are for academic credits only and run in parallel with academic semesters.
» Work closely with one of the Creative Directors to develop design concepts and follow design projects through completion.
» Participate in design critiques and the iterative process.
» Offer support to the internal Substance151 team: assist in preparing for client presentations, awards submissions and other Substance151 marketing activities.
Who Should Apply
» You are a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student, or a graduate student, enrolled in a Graphic Design program at an accredited school or university
» You are passionate about design, eager to learn from others, and able to take the initiative and learn from your own research and analysis.
» You always go the extra mile, beyond the “must-haves” outlined in the given assignment, and you are able to demonstrate broad intellectual curiosity and creativity.
» You are an excellent communicator, have impeccable attention to detail and commitment to quality of execution.
» Working knowledge of basic software applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
» Understanding of print and interactive media; web experience is a plus.
» Previous professional design experience preferred, but not required.
