The Embassy of Denmark will open its doors to the public on December 9 from 1 – 5 p.m., providing a very special and rare opportunity to tour and view the elaborate installation in the Danish Ambassador’s residence for a viewing of Origin to Icon: Exploring Danish Design and Creative Christmas: 50 Years of Iconic Danish Design.

National Portfolio Day will bring large crowds to the Downtown Campus

National Portfolio Day will be held at the Downtown Campus this Saturday, December 4th. This is one the largest annual event that the College hosts, with an average attendance of over 1,600 parents and prospective students who will be here to visit with representatives from undergraduate art programs from all over the country. The Darkroom, Ceramics Studio and Glaze Hall, Lab 9-3, and Sculpture Studios will be available as scheduled by those departments for open lab time, however, please be prepared to navigate large crowds.

Independent Curators International announces the opening of an administrative, part-time position in its exhibitions department.

The Exhibitions Assistant will assist with all aspects of the exhibition program. Among a variety of clerical tasks, the Exhibitions Assistant will be asked to:

Photographer's Assistant Opening

Photographer's assistant to assist in post-production of multi-media story.  Expect to have photos, interviews and ambient sounds completed by mid-January and need someone proficient in Final Cut (or something similar) software to produce the piece.  Assistant would need expertise to incorporate images, interviews, sounds and music into a polished, professional finished multi-media product for publication on the web.

Pay negotiable.

Part-time (approx. 10-12 hours), flexible day-time hours, mid-January to mid-February.
