Call for Volunteers – Washington National Portfolio Day!

Student/Faculty and Staff Needed!!

Saturday, December 1, 2012 – 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 

It’s that time of year again for Washington’s National Portfolio Day! We are expecting over 1,000 prospective students, parents and guests on campus and your help is needed and MUCH appreciated. Volunteer duties include but are not limited to, welcoming guests to campus, providing direction to college tables, and of course sharing your Corcoran experience with prospective students.

New Research Guide - Taryn Simon

The Corcoran Library has a new research guide on Taryn Simon, created by our Graduate Student Ambassador Lauren Knabel. This guide was created to correspond with the Corcoran Gallery of Art exhibition Taryn Simon - A Living Man Declared Dead and Other Chapters, I-XVIII (November 10, 2012 - February 24, 2013).

Mobile MovieThe Corcoran is now accepting submissions for its first-ever MobileMovie Film Festival, a juried film competition taking place in the Corcoran’s auditorium on Wednesday, January 9, at 7 p.m.

Departmental Interior Design Competition Winners

The Corcoran's interior design department is proud to announce the winners of the 2012 Departmental Interior Design Competition.  Congratulations to Sandra Fine and Cara Sheridan, both Master of Arts in Interior Design candidates, for their winning submissions!                      

Library Due Dates Extended

All library items due 10/28-10/30 have been renewed and fines waived. If you feel you received an overdue notice or library fine in error, please contact the Corcoran Library.
