Constance Bergfors Travel Research Prize

Applications for the Constance Bergfors Travel Research Prize are now being accepted. The Prize is intended to fund travel and research on an independent creative and/or research project developed by an enrolled graduate student in one of the Corcoran Masters programs. Proposals are solicited in one of three areas:

  • Art and Social Activism
  • Sustainability in Art and Design
  • East-West: The Art of Dialogue

 

Proposal

Disruption in the Library, Monday March 11 & Tuesday March 12

There will be major disruptions in the Corcoran Library today (Monday 3/11) and tomorrow (Tuesday 3/12) during the next phase of our space redesign. The back area of the Library is closed. Please do not use the back entrance. Ask library staff members for assistance retrieving material from the TR659-Z area. The GRIFFIN printer/copier is offline - please send print jobs to the LION printer and use LION for copies. Noise levels will vary. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience, but hope it will improve the Library in the end!

New Media Photojournalism student Clary Estes has organized a one night silent auction to benefit Staton Elementary School on Tuesday, March 12.

Copyright and Your Thesis Workshop, March 12

The Corcoran Library will present a workshop on March 12 at 10 am - Copyright and Your Thesis. Geared to graduate students submitting their thesis to ProQuest UMI and the Library's CANVAS digital collections, this workshop will cover ways that you can protect your intellectual property while respecting that of others. (Georgetown, Room 109)
