ART INCITE STUDENT TALKS

The Fine Art Department invites everyone to our first STUDENT ART INCITE TALKS on March 7. Five separate talks by Fine Arts STUDENTS presented in a total of half an hour!

Here is the lineup:

  • Lorenzo Cardim deAlmeida "Art and Religion of Bahia"
  • Rene Medrano "The Gaze"
  • Sarah Gettman "From there to here: teaching adults with severe disabilities"

Fine Art and Creative Photography
The Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) invites all artists residing in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico to enter its open-juried all photography competition. Any original work created in any form of photography, following exhibition guidlines, will be considered. Exhibiting concurrently is the juried work of the Chesapeake Sculptors. Works selected will be one exhibit in the MFA’s Circle Gallery, 18 State Circle, Annapolis, Maryland

SUBMIT YOUR ARTWORK TO BE DISPLAYED & SOLD AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT!

 

$$$$  Quench Restaurant in Rockville (Opening in early April 2012) is seeking local artists and art students to submit their original works (photography, painting, drawing, etc.).  Art will be displayed and available for sale to the public, with the artist making a portion of the profits.   $$$$
