The  Office of Student Affairs supports the academic and co-curricular success of all graduate and undergraduate students. In addition to providing programs and advising in the areas of career services, mental health and wellness, student activities, and study abroad, the Office of Student Affairs oversees all student organizations, student housing, Commencement, New Student Orientation, and Family and Alumni Weekend.  Office Hours: MondayFriday, 9 a.m.5 p.m.

2012 Faculty Development Grant Recipients

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2012 Faculty Development Grants.  These grants are generously funded by Connie Bergfors to give faculty the opportunity to explore their artistic interests and pursue interesting projects during the summer months. 

The Faculty Development Committee met in June and there was unanimous agreement over the exciting range of the proposals. This summer, the Committee is proud to award the 2012 Faculty Grants:

Paid Opportunity for Corcoran Students at IAC

Earlier in the Spring semester PSI, a organization focused on world health visited the Corcoran asking student help and ideas at the International AIDS Conference held here in DC in July. Their partner ALERE, Inc., would like to work with Corcoran students to get some original art for its "Make Positive More Positive" campaign

Georgia Avenue Window Walk

The"Georgia Avenue Window Walk"is providing an opportunity for artists to create installations on vacant properties along Georgia Avenue.  This call is open to artists who live or work in DC and organizations located in DC.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old (if working with a youth group, lead applicant must be at least 18 years old).   Submissions for site-specific installations in all media are welcome including (but not limited to) painting, sculpture, installation, street art, photography, educational installations, wheat-pasting, mural, digital art, and video art.
