Students must meet with their assigned advisor each semester prior to registration to review their academic progress and to discuss a program of study for the upcoming semester. Advisors can help identify scheduling problems, ensure proper credit load and help with the selection of electives. Problems which are not resolved with the advisors can be brought to the attention of the Department Chair. If further assistance is needed, contact the Registrar and finally the Associate Dean of Student and Academic Affairs. Students are ultimately responsible for ensuring that their registration adheres to the rules of the College and fulfills the requirements for graduation. Each student is assigned an advisor during his/her first semester of enrollment at the Corcoran. A list of advisors is posted in the studio/classroom at the beginning of each semester.
