Corcoran Gallery of Art and other DC Museums.

Join educators from around the region and across the country for  6 full days of workshops, guest speakers, gallery investigations and field trips to explore arts integration. Social Studies, music, visual art, theatre, and literary arts are paired with Corcoran Gallery works of art to better understand ‘big ideas’ and CORE standards.

Fee: $150.00 (Fee includes 16-work teaching poster set, curriculum binder, admission to the gallery and other field trip sites as well as light breakfast refreshments each morning)

30 hours of PLU credit awarded. Limited to 10 educators.

LOCATION
The Corcoran Gallery of Art is located at 500 Seventeenth Street NW
The main entrance is located on Seventeenth Street between New York Avenue and E Street NW.

PARKING
Metered street parking is available in the area, but limited. Meter payment required Monday–Saturday 7 a.m.–10 p.m. Time limits apply. Please read meter signage carefully. Parking is free on Sundays and holidays.

Rail
The Corcoran is just a few blocks away from two convenient Metro rail stations: Farragut West- on the Orange/Blue lines (take the 17th street exit) and Farragut North-on the Red line (take the K Street exit). From either station, walk south on Seventeenth Street to the Corcoran.
