Charles Mitchell has been involved in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction community for over 30 years. He currently serves as the Vice President of an engineering corporation, ETI, which specializes in quality control services during construction. He also serves as a consultant to a structural engineering consulting firm, SK&A, for which he provides construction administration services on various design projects. In addition to Charles’ construction expertise, during his previous experience with several design firms he has served as their Computer Aided Design (CAD) Manager; responsible for the management of professional design personnel utilizing CAD applications to present and document their project designs. Charles has been designing, managing and teaching Computer Aided Design for over 25 years in various formats, such as AutoCAD, VersaCAD, MicroStation and Revit. Projects in which Charles has been involved include 300 New Jersey Avenue (Washington, DC), Constitution Center (Washington, DC), Tier 2 Midfield Expansion Project (Dulles International Airport), JetBlue Terminal (John F. Kennedy Airport), and the City Hall Tower Restoration Project (Philadelphia, PA). Notable architectural firms and interiors studios with whom Charles has collaborated on various design projects include, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, Kohn Pedersen Fox, Gensler and Harbeson Hough Livingston & Larson (H2L2).
