Karthika Audinet

Adjunct Faculty
Graduate - Interior Design

Karthika Audinet has acquired 20 years of expertise in design while working for high-end clients in Asia, Europe, and the US. After working with disadvantaged and disabled artisans in Cambodia for the World Bank, Ms. Audinet set up a fair trade business called Designers and Artisans in 2008, partnering with non-profit organizations in India and US, tweaking their products into contemporary clothing, furnishings, and accessories. She has been teaching textile design at the Corcoran College of Art + Design for the past four years. She herself studied at two of the world's best design schools: The National Institute of Design, India, and Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle, France. Some of her furnishing fabrics can be seen at the Washington Design Center, and a limited selection of her company's products are available at www.designersandartisans.com.
