Personal Information

Kate Hardy is a Washington DC Artist and Museum Professional. She received her BFA from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in 1999 and then taught in the ceramics department for 2 years. In 2004 she graduated from Cranbrook Academy of Art with an MFA in Ceramics, and in 2006 earned a Certificate of Museum Studies from the George Washington University. She was Artist in Residence at 'Red Dirt Studio' from 2004-2010, and has had solo exhibitions of her work at Project 4 Gallery and the DC Arts Center. Currently Kate is an independent contractor providing Museum Professional services for the Smithsonian Institution, the Department of Interior, and other clients.
