Marla McLean

I am a working artist, maintaining a studio in Riverdale, MD where I create mixed media assemblage and symbolic visual art. I actively exhibit my work. I am a Reggio inspired Educator and Atelierista. Through this work I have received awards, and speak and facilitate workshops on Creativity and Young Children both nationally and internationally. I have 20 years dedicated to this evolving work which integrates the thinking of art, science, theory, technology, community, and the soul of the studio- the innate creativity that resides in each human.
