Rick Wall

Professor, Chair of Foundation Studies
Undergraduate - Fine Art

Rick Wall began his teaching career at the Corcoran in 1981 and has taught in the Sculpture, Foundations, and Fine Arts departments. He was Chair of the Sculpture department from 1992 until 2002. Mr. Wall has written for Fine Woodworking magazine and served as a consultant in furniture design for Time-Life Books, Inc. Mr. Wall is a practicing artist whose work bridges the gap between sculpture and furniture. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including the American Craft Museum, New York, NY; The Virginia Museum of Fine Art, Richmond, VA; The National Building Museum; Washington D.C.; and Blutenweiss: Raum fur Kunst, Berlin, Germany. He is represented by Kathleen Ewing Gallery, Washington, D.C. and Lois Lambert Gallery, Santa Monica CA—site of his recent exhibition Deconstruction/Reconstruction.
