M Ed, in General Education and in Special Education (dual degree, Lesley College) and certified in Middle School and Special Education, brings classroom teaching experience in special education integration and multidisciplinary curriculum development for learners in the middle grades. Honig has also studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and is a practicing artist. She also has research experience in alternative education and assessment and brings these perspectives to the planning and teaching of students. Honig is currently a doctoral candidate in Teacher Education at George Mason University, specializing in assessment in the area of arts education.
