The central focus of Ms. Susan Fox's work over the last 10 years has been on the relationship between aesthetics and identity, how they transform one another, and how they connect and disconnect the continual transformation the self undergoes through experience and time. Working through the traditions of psychoanalysis and philosophy, Ms. Fox's research works toward finding the connections that the self creates as it relates to aesthetic experience. Ms. Fox has taught for 15 years at several institutions, including Binghamton University, American University, Temple University, New York University, George Mason University, and the Corcoran College of Art and Design.
