Ursula Coleman is from Durango, Colorado. Before becoming an interior designer, she was an air traffic controller and an Operations NCO for the U.S. Army. She has lived in many different areas of the United States, as well as overseas. Ursula graduated from The Art Center Design College, Tucson, AZ, with a BA in Interior Design. Upon graduation, she went on to do contract work for residential and commercial design. In addition to contract work, Ursula also was a full time faculty member of the Interior Design department at The Art Center Design College before moving to the Washington, DC area. Currently she is an adjunct faculty member with the Interior Design Department at Corcoran College of Art and Design. Ursula is a candidate of the Smithsonian-Corcoran M.A. in the History of Decorative Arts program.
