The Corcoran Library’s collection contains a highly specialized Art and Design anthology as well as general materials in the Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences. The Library subscribes to more than 150 print periodicals, including scholarly journals, magazines, and newspapers. Electronic databases expand access to more than 11,000 periodicals.
Visual Resources (DVDs/ Videos/Image Databases)
The Library’s visual resources collection consists of more than 1,500 DVDs and videos, and online subscriptions to ARTstor, AP Images, the Art Museum Image Gallery, Bridgeman Education, the Catalog of Art Museum Images Online, and the Cinema Image Gallery.
The Corcoran Library subscribes to more than 40 online research and media databases that provide citations and abstracts to articles and books, high-quality images, and digital media. Many databases provide full-text access to articles, book reviews, conference proceedings, and more.
