Update (4:32 pm) - We believe we have identified the reason we are experiencing intermittent connectivity issues with several of our databases and have begun taking steps to resolve the issue. In part, this required us to contact our database vendors, and we are now awaiting action on their part. You should see service to all our databases begin to return.
