Corcoran Personal Tours

Join us in Washington, D.C., the nation’s cultural capital, to visit the Corcoran College of Art + Design. Tours of our Downtown campus are available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and can include a one-on-one meeting with an admissions counselor as well as a portfolio review. Tours of our Design facilities at our Georgetown campus are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only. Please contact the Office of Admissions at (202) 639-1814 to schedule your visit.

Corcoran Campus Visits

Each year, the Corcoran’s admissions staff travels to select schools throughout the country to share the outstanding opportunities available at the Corcoran College of Art + Design. Interested school representatives may contact the Office of Admissions directly at (202) 639-1814 to schedule a visit. Request a visit online!


Corcoran Group Tours

Teachers interested in bringing their classes to visit the numerous exhibitions and collections in the Corcoran Gallery of Art may contact the education office directly. For groups of high school-age students, college representatives are available to discuss pre-college and undergraduate degree programs if requested. For more information, call (202) 639-1730 for museum tours and (202) 639-1814 for college tours.


Directions


Metrorail
The Corcoran’s Downtown campus is located on the corner of Seventeenth Street and New York Avenue NW, across the street from the White House and Old Executive Office Building. We are just a few blocks from two convenient Metrorail stations: Farragut West on the Orange/Blue lines (take the Seventeenth Street exit), and Farragut North on the Red line (take the K Street exit). Once exiting either station, walk south down Seventeenth Street to reach the Corcoran.


Parking
Metered street parking is also available in the area from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Parking is free after 10 p.m. and on Sundays and holidays.


Metrobus
Students can reach the Corcoran’s Georgetown campus by Metrobus Routes 31, 32 and 36; the DC Circulator, which stops at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and Thirty-fourth Street; and Metrobus Routes D1 and D2, which stop at Thirty-fifth and S Streets, NW
