U.S. Green Building Council Symposium at the Corcoran!

Join us for "Nature’s Genius: Biomimetic Design Solutions" featuring speakers from HOK and Hickok Cole. Presentations begin at 6pm in the Corcoran Auditorium (500 17th Street, NY Ave entrance). Congratulations to Margaret Adams!

Congratulations are due to Margaret Adams, Assistant Professor of Photography, who won an Honorable Mention and Director's Selection at the Center for Fine Art Photography's "Portrait" competition. Her pieces are being exhibited January 13 – February 25, 2012 at the Center in Fort Collins, CO.  The work was selected by Anna Walker Skillman, the owner of Jackson Fine Art in Atlanta.

Design Projects by Corcoran Students, Staff, Faculty Selected for the AIGA DC 50 Biennial

The 12th biennial AIGA DC 50, a juried exhibition that showcases 50 of the strongest examples of design produced in the Washington, D.C., region during the past two years, has been announced, and several of the winners are from the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design.
