Outside these Walls

 

Graduate students in design created this beautiful and sustainable holiday tree for Washington's well-known 'Georgetown Jingle', a fund-raising drive for a local children's hospital. Kate Robertson, Molly Kunselman, Liz Reilly, Ruth Crump, Stacy Diehl and Claudia Sans Werner led this effort, made even more impressive as it took place during a very busy time of our academic year.

Corcoran Students Work with Government Printing Office and American Printing History Association

The Art and the Book Program at the Corcoran College of Art and Design, the American Printing History Association Chesapeake Chapter, and the Government Printing Office joined forces this fall to celebrate GPO's 150th anniversary by getting some historic wood display type, long unused in GPO's basement, together with eager students at the Corcoran.
