Design Intern for The Washington Center

POSITION TITLE:                              Design Intern

REPORTS TO:                                     Graphic Designer and Communications Manager

JOB FUNCTION:

The Design intern will work with the Graphic Designer and the Communications manager to maintain the visual identity of The Washington Center through the design and layout of print, web and promotional materials.

Part Time Employment at Smithsonian for Current Students

A limited number of part-time employment opportunities for Gallery Attendants are now available with the Smithsonian Institution Office of Protection Services in Washington, DC.  Flexible hours including weekends.   Gallery Attendants interact with visitors by answering questions, giving directions, providing basic instructions on security regulations, and maintaining surveillance of gallery safety.

To be considered, college students must send a resume, current transcript, and letter from the university or college confirming current enrollment by December 11, 2009.

ONE Campaign Design/Photo Internship

Design / Photo Intern at The ONE Campaign

The design/photo internship starts in January 2010.  The intern will assist ONE’s designers with creation of graphics for web, email, and print projects.
Other job responsibilities will include: collecting, tagging, and uploading images to Asset Bank – our online image asset management system in addition to photo research for photo shoots, campaigns, and website imagery. May also assist with  photo shoots.
