Byrne Gallery Presents Gold Works

The Byrne Gallery is pleased to present GOLD WORKS, paintings and drawings by Thomas Xenakis, for the month of October 2009. This luminous exhibition of mixed media paintings and drawings on gold leaf panels highlights a very unique vision by this gifted Washington D.C. based artist. We are excited to exhibit Xenakis at our gallery for the first time. These three dimensional panels glow with light, color, and movement. Xenakis’ abstracted contemporary works titled: XPYSO Series (meaning GOLD in Greek) are paintings in progress since 2003.
