Letter from Provost Catherine Armour: Tuition Freeze for 2013-14

Dear Corcoran Community,

I’m writing to you with important and timely news: the Corcoran College of Art + Design has decided to freeze tuition rates for the 2013-14 school year. Students are our priority at the Corcoran, and we are so pleased to offer this real advantage to our community. With the federal government exploring proposals to cut Pell grants and other forms of financial aid, a tuition freeze will be welcome financial relief for our talented and dedicated students.

Faculty Development Grants

The Faculty Development Committee met on Tuesday, January 29, and there was unanimous agreement over the exciting range of the proposals. This was the largest round of proposals to date and we are thrilled to present the recipients of the Faculty Development Fund Award.

Casey Smith, Arts & Humanities. Support a research trip to UK at the British Library and St. Bride's Printing Library and to present a paper or chair a session at the "Research Society for Victorian Periodicals Annual Conference"
