Founded in 1869, the Corcoran Gallery of Art is one of the oldest museums in the United States, and is the largest privately supported cultural institution in our nation’s capital. The Corcoran College of Art + Design, founded shortly thereafter in 1890, and which provides undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education opportunities, is one of the few art schools in the country that has remained integrated with a major museum. The Museum and many of the College’s studios and classrooms are housed in our National Historic Landmark building on 17th Street, located directly across from the White House.
Corporations of all sizes help to strengthen the arts and cultural community in Washington, D.C. by supporting the Corcoran. Below are some ways your company can join this distinguished core of donors:
- Sponsor a special exhibition or event
- Sponsor a program or series of programs for youth, families, or adults
- Host your next corporate event or meeting in one of the Corcoran’s elegant spaces
To show our appreciation, we work with our corporate partners to create a tailored benefits package to meet each corporation’s needs. The Corcoran offers exclusive benefits, including prominent logo recognition, co-branding opportunities, entertaining privileges, and free admission to the Corcoran for employees, among others.
